		Artist Biography Sally Darley lives and works in Holmfirth, UK, using oils on wood or canvas, pencil, chalk and charcoal, crafts, sculpture and video. ‘Peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan’ is a current and courageous theme. In her images, a concern for people portrays our underlying, eternal human need for beauty and truth. This exciting work is informed by the structured and cloistered lives of monastic faith; she is bedazzled by the wonders of medieval art and Architecture. Following a BA in Creative Arts at M.M.U, and Post Grad. Training at Huddersfield Art Gallery and Leeds City Museum, she is now an artist in demand with national magazine commissions and support from international organisations. She has held exhibitions in Yorkshire.
